Domestic Abuse Prevention Worker

£25,377 per annum

Fixed term contract to 31 May 2020

37 hours per week to be worked flexibly to meet the requirements of the service

The Domestic Abuse Prevention Worker will be directly employed by TLC: Talk, Listen, Change and will work in partnership with five other Alliance partners to deliver The Prevention Alliance (TPA) for vulnerable people within Stockport. Members of the Alliance are Age UK Stockport, Synergy, Nacro, TLC: Talk, Listen, Change, Stockport Homes and Threshold.

Main purpose of the job:

To undertake assessments, individual sessions, and group-work with perpetrators of domestic abuse who have been referred to The Prevention Alliance (TPA) in relation to their abusive/coercive behaviours.

To liaise with referring agencies and actively contribute to risk management procedures and team working across the Alliance.
