Keyworker post with Synergy now open

Although directly employed by Synergy Stockport, you will work in partnership with five other Alliance partners to deliver The Prevention Service for vulnerable people within Stockport.

This service will offer holistic advice, signposting and support to vulnerable people with a wide range of needs, utilising an asset based approach where people are assessed in terms of their strengths or assets and supported to increase their independence and resilience.  The service will also focus on increasing social capital and building community capacity and informal support mechanisms, thereby meeting a key aim of preventing, reducing or delaying the need to access formal and statutory services.

Enthusiastic and dedicated you will have a commitment to work as a positive team member. Ideally you will have the experience or the skills required to support a wide range of vulnerable people and households, be a good communicator and an ability to organise and prioritise your own workload is essential.

The successful applicant’s appointment will be subject to satisfactory clearance by the Disclosure & Barring Service.
