STRIVE – Domestic Incident Volunteers needed

TLC (Talk, Listen, Change) are offering a new volunteering opportunity for Stockport.

‘Domestic Incident Volunteers’ are required to support ‘low-level’ domestic incidents, alongside Police in Stockport. Volunteers will work with individuals and families in the wider area, offering support and early intervention, to reduce repeat call outs.

 You care for people and see people’s potential
 You would like to gain experience for work or studies
 You would like to meet new people
 If you want to make a difference
 If you have time to spare
 If you would like to build your confidence

Volunteer requirements;
 You must be 21+ years old
 Have a commitment to helping people
 Have a valid driving licence and use of a car is preferable with business
insurance
 The ability to attend training
 You can commit to 2½ hours per week volunteering time (after training)
 Be required to complete a DBS
Volunteers can expect:
 Out of pocket expenses reimbursed (capped),
 Bespoke training packages
 Progression within TLC volunteering structure
 One to one supervisions
 Group supervision,
 Support within your role
