ROC Brinnington seeking volunteers

The Roc Café at Brinington Lighthouse Centre is looking for Volunteers. They have won some funding and will be expanding the number of days the service runs. Please can you keep them in mind when thinking about volunteering. It will be outside school hours and they will require a DBS check. Please contact Steph at roccafebrinny2016@gmail.com for any further information.

The ROC Café is a safe fun place for young people in secondary school to go in the evening, which provides entertaining and healthy activities. It also gives them the chance to meet positive role models who can offer encouragement and friendship.

Opening hours are timed to help reduce anti-social behaviour and ROC Brinnington opens from 6 – 7.30pm on a Friday evening for that reason .

The ROC Café is run by volunteers from Brinnington Community church, as well as from the community in general .
