Become a Community Anchor for TPA
Do you run a community or interest group in the Stockport area?
Our People Helping People team connect socially isolated people to local organisations and events, from hobbies and interests to peer support groups to educational projects such as U3A to Luncheon Clubs to social groups who organise events and outings.
We are looking for Community Anchors, volunteers who are involved in these groups their local community and who want to help welcome the people who TPA works with into wider participation with the community around them. The only commitment is that you are available to work with our Community Connectors and Keyworkers to help oversee these first steps. Volunteering alongside TPA will be rewarding, will benefit your group in terms of increasing the number of people involved and we’ll give you all the support that you need.
If you are interested in becoming a Community Anchor please contact Sascha on 07423 432138 or Mark on 07800 618976 for a chat.
