TPA involved in Time To Talk day
One in four people in England will suffer from mental health issues every year in the UK, but there is still a huge taboo around talking about mental health and how we are feeling.
The annual Time To Talk day organised by Time To Change seeks to set a day aside every year where we can find someone, be it a friend, colleague, family member or professional to discuss mental health with. This years event will be held on February 1st.
To coincide with this initiative, The Prevention Alliance are holding mental health awareness events at various venues around Stockport.
Our workers will be available to offer advice and lend a friendly ear at the following venue on the day:
Stockport Central Library – Wellington Rd S, Stockport SK1 3RS 0161 217 6009
The Olive Branch – 2A Castle St, Stockport SK3 9AB 0161 425 0707
