Stockport Access and Crisis Team
The access and crisis team is the single point of referrals to mental health services for adults.
This team includes consultant psychiatrists, social workers, assessment workers and primary care mental health workers.
We triage, assess and sign post referrals to mental health services. In addition, we conduct crisis follow up work with service users.
The home treatment team will focus on working with service users who require more intensive crisis home treatment, preventing admission or facilitating a timely discharge from inpatient services.
